How many women cannot be happy about their pregnancy?

Many indications suggest that nowadays, a majority of women cannot unreservedly rejoice in their pregnancy – at least not in the idea of possibly being pregnant.

Our research findings, as demonstrated by the responses of approximately 70 percent of women who take our Online Pregnancy Test at profemina.org, reveal this significant trend. The mere idea of a possible pregnancy is immediately associated with worries and uncertainty for these women. Their response to the question, "If it turns out you are pregnant, how would you feel?" is either "That would be terrible" or "I am not sure how I would respond." In this context, at 1000plus-Profemina, we refer to these women as "crisis-pregnancy-minded."

Contrasting this, less than a third, approximately 30 percent, embrace the thought of a possible pregnancy. Their answer to how they would respond if they were pregnant was, "Wonderful! I have been longing for a baby."
